Discussion on The Inside Dope

Paul, I agree with you that Sen. Mike Jacobs, Reps Pat Vershoore, and Mike Boland along with the blue ribbon committee, renew Moline, the city of Moline, WIU and all of the others that have worked so hard on this project have done a great job for the area bringing this first stage by receiving priority status by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Paul, I wonder if you realize the work that has been done by these players in this accomplishment. I know that you have been living out east working for another district so it has been hard for you to keep in the loop on these important issues. You are the only one trying to make politics out of this. And I for one am offended.

Yeah right, Rumler is the one making politics out of it. Who called the premature press conference? Let's just hope that the Gov doesn't get to p*ssed at Mikey that their relationship gets strained. It would be hard to represent the area if the Senator can't be trusted by the Gov.

I think that Mike Boland has done exactly what Rumler is railing against in his statement. Prematurely attacking the Gov. for not approving the Thomson prison ahead of the deadline. I hope this doesn't compromise the hard work that so many have done to form a good working relationship with the Gov, for the good of the Thomson prison.
