Vinyl vanquished?

The notion that a 128-year-old house that is home of a historical society should be clad in vinyl apparently is dead. Here's the story.
There'll still be an opportunity to contribute to the paint fund. Stay tuned.

As anyone asked the Preservation Society how a house that had a remodel done in 1992 with the addition of a library added to the back of the house (which is sided by the way) qualifies as a "historic landmark". I am sure that if the house would have been given the landmark before 1992 the Preservation Society would not have given their "permission" to add the library. I find it scarry that when one group of people can tell someone what they can do with their own property.
